Hi guys! I hope everyone is having a great week. I want to share one of my hummus recipes today, because I have been so crazy about Hummus lately. Hummus is really one of my favorites things to eat, but in South America it isn’t as usual as it is in other countries, which is weird considering that they eat plenty of beans, they just eat them warm all the time.
Well I have been trying different things with hummus, because that is one of the greatest parts about it, that you can just mix up many different flavors and it works wonders! I also love the fact that you are getting all those proteins and vitamins unprocessed and fresh which is very good for your body, especially pepper that are amazing for your skin ladies! Well, in this particular case, I want to tell you this is one of my personal favorites because it has avocado in it, it is seriously like guacamole married hummus hahaha. and I love it!
Okay, so this is very simple. I always start with my garlic and the juice of one lemon, I add my white beans and blend everything with some olive oil, than I add the pepper that I cut in small pieces and blend again. I add the avocado at the end because is the softest ingredient. I’m a huge fan of basil so I add a little bit for the flavor, more olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. The last blend and you are ready to go! Join the hummus with some vegetables or like in this case with some German bread. See one of my hummus recipes below. I hope you guys like it. Xoxo

– 1 Yellow pepper
– 1 avocado
– 1 garlic
– 1 box of white beans (250grms)
– olive oil
– one lemon
– basil to taste
– salt & pepper
